An old friend finds his way back to Kansas City.

Emmanuel Ogbah signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on a Tuesday, a homecoming of sorts for a veteran defensive end entering his 11th year in the NFL. Ogbah and the Chiefs had history -- the organization knew who he was and what he could do, and on the open market, that familiarity mattered. There is something to be said for returning to a place that wanted you before, especially when you are deep enough into a career that the calculus shifts from prove-it deals to fit and continuity. The Chiefs were adding depth on the defensive line; Ogbah was looking for a team that understood his game. The fit made sense for both.
