Jameis Winston did the Norwegian Row, and he did not hold back

Some players shake hands with the crowd. Jameis Winston rows with them.

Winston has never been accused of doing anything halfway. Whatever room he's in, he tends to fill it — which probably explains how he ended up learning a full rowing routine from a section of passionate fans and committing to it completely.

The Norwegian Row is exactly what it sounds like: a synchronized rowing motion that fan groups do together, arms out, pulling in unison, the whole section moving as one. Winston got the tutorial, picked it up, and went for it. No hesitation. Full send.

For a quarterback who has had his share of heavy moments over the years, this was a light one — and that matters too. A player loose enough to let fans teach him something silly, and joyful enough to actually enjoy it, is a player in a good place.

Wherever the next chapter takes him, he's not rowing alone.

Jameis Winston learned how to do the Norwegian Row from the crazed fans — and it was every bit as glorious as I’d hoped! 😂🇳🇴🚣🏻 (🎥 @FOXSports, @Jaboowins) https://t.co/NER9NUA4Ab
