There is a version of coming back from injury where you ease in, get managed, and play a few snaps before anyone really trusts you again. Tucker Kraft does not appear to be planning for that version.

Kraft is a tight end for the Green Bay Packers, and right now he is in the rehab phase — the part that happens before the cameras and the crowd. What he has said out loud is that he wants to be ready for Week 1 with no restrictions on how long he plays. Not "hopefully healthy." Not "we'll see how the knee feels." No ceiling.

That kind of goal is something between a plan and a statement. It tells you where his head is. The work between now and the start of the season is the whole story — and it is not finished yet.
