McMillan says he never agreed to that camp — somebody used his name anyway

Somewhere, a youth football camp was advertised with Tetairoa McMillan's name on it. There was just one problem: he had nothing to do with it.

McMillan is a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers, still early in a career that already has people paying close attention. His name carries real weight — enough, apparently, for someone to attach it to an event without ever asking him first.

He made it plain: he never committed to the camp. He had not agreed to show up, lend his name, or be any part of it. The camp went out into the world wearing his identity without his permission.

That is not a small thing.
