Price says the workload is exactly what he came here for
Some rookies ease into it. Jadarian Price is not interested in easing into anything.
Price came into the league as a first-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks, and from the jump he has been straightforward about what he wants: the ball, the carries, the full weight of being a featured back. That kind of confidence can sound hollow until the team actually hands you the keys.
In an appearance on NFL Network's The Insiders, Price talked about his new team, what he sees as his role, and what it means to be around a winning culture. He was clear about where his head is at.
For a rookie running back stepping into a full workload in Year 1, the mental side matters as much as anything. Price is not hedging. He is not talking about earning his way into a committee situation over time. He is saying this is what he asked for — and he is ready for it.
The question now is simple: does the work match the words? That's the only thing left to find out.
