Elandon Roberts is going home. The veteran linebacker, who spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has agreed to return on a one-year deal. It is the kind of move that happens quietly in the offseason—a player and a team recognizing what they already know about each other and deciding to keep going.
Roberts was part of a defensive unit that had built something together. He played linebacker for the Steelers through 2023 and into 2024, part of the backbone of a defense that knew his assignments, his tendencies, what he was.
