Wide Receiver
Stefon Diggs
No. 8 · 12th season
The NFL looked into Stefon Diggs. It found nothing.
There is a version of this story that goes quietly. No charges, no finding, no verdict — just a notification that it's over. That's where Stefon Diggs is today.
Diggs spent years as one of the most electric wide receivers in the league, a player who turned sideline catches into something worth replaying. But this offseason he's been a free agent, and somewhere in the background, the NFL was running a personal conduct investigation with his name on it.
Today the league closed that investigation. Insufficient evidence to support a violation, they said. No further action.
For a player without a team, that clears one thing. What it doesn't clear is the open question of where he plays next — and whether any front office has been waiting to see how this landed before picking up the phone.
