The Ravens looked at a few names. They kept coming back to Chris Moore.

Sometimes the job goes to the last person standing in the room. The Baltimore Ravens brought in a group of wide receivers for tryouts, ran them through the paces, and at the end of it signed Chris Moore — a veteran who has been in and out of the league long enough to know how these days feel.

Moore spent his early NFL years with the Ravens before bouncing to other stops, so this is a return as much as it is a signing. What he brings is experience and familiarity with how the organization runs.

For a team that saw a need at wide receiver and went looking, choosing someone who already knows the building is its own kind of answer. Moore gets another shot. Baltimore gets someone who has done this before.
