Some players get drafted for what they've already done. Robinson got drafted for what he looks like he could become.

He played edge rusher at Alabama — one of the most scrutinized programs in college football — and still spent most of his time on the sideline. Not because the size wasn't there, or the length, or the athleticism. Those were never in doubt. The opportunities just weren't.

The Denver Broncos took him in the fourth round of the 2025 draft, 134th overall. That number says plenty: not a sure thing, but worth a real bet.

For Robinson, this is the first time he'll have a real runway. Whatever he built at Alabama without ever fully getting to show it, Denver is now the place where it either translates or it doesn't.
