Watson came up at North Dakota State, a school that has quietly sent a long line of players to the NFL. That's also where he first worked with Noah Pauley — before the Green Bay Packers, before any of this. The trust got built there, in a smaller program, long before anyone was watching.

Now Pauley is the Packers' new receiver coach, and the two of them are back in the same building. Watson and Pauley have both called it a full circle moment, and it's hard to argue with that framing.
