Jameson Williams
No. 1 · 5th season
Williams finally played a full season. Now he wants more.
For most of his time in Detroit, Jameson Williams has been a player you catch in glimpses — flashes of speed that make you put your drink down, then a suspension or an injury that takes him away before he can finish the thought.
This past season, he stayed. All 17 games, start to finish — the first time in his career he made it through a full year. And when he was on the field for all of it, the numbers followed: 65 catches, 1,117 yards receiving. Not a fluke. A whole season of proof.
What's interesting is what happened after. Williams didn't take the offseason to enjoy the milestone. He went back to work with a specific idea — that what he just did was good, and good isn't where he wants to stop.
